I love the subtlety of the green hand watercolor and the touch of red in the signatures.
Just back in the studio after a week off and in my pile of mail is this amazing New Year's card from Phillip Crangi, the jewelry designer, and his sis Courtney. The holiday greetings this year have been such a breath of fresh air, incredibly original and soulful.

I really appreciate how every detail has been thought out. The motif follows the traditional green and red holiday palette, but in unexpected ways (swirls, signatures). And the Janus head, in its classical assocation with gateways and beginnings, is the perfect symbol for the New Year.
